Bits and Bobs      March 2010

Last year we took part in the making of the feature film "Skeletons" by Nick Whitfield. Njaal played the part of Raul, a tango teacher, in a dancing scene. Cidinha made the choreography and she also stared as a dancer.
The filming took place in the grand ballroom of Matlock Town Hall.
Some of our brightest and finest students took part in the scene: Wendy and Steve, Roland and Sarah, Peter and Sharon, Gordon and Karen, Henrik and Romina and Kai as Cidinha's glamorous, galant and handsome partner.

The film will hit the big screen in July 2010 (we know it is hard,but you must have patience until then).

Last 9th of March we have been down to London, at the residence of the Argentine Embassador, for a fantastic conference with the Maestro Bandeonist Joaquín Amenábar. Following the conference we had a mini-milonga that also was great.

In a flash of decision-making we decided to do a Workshop with Tango Chocolate (Germany), tango dancers and teachers Veronica y Marcelo from Argentina will come in June 2010. So prepare yourselves for learning new fancy stuff.
This time we are doing it with plenty of notice!!!

BRATZ TANGO

I need to say that Maria (you know the fashion girl) make me feel just, I said just a little bit zealous of her terrific tights on our Salsatango event on the 20th of March. But I tell you that I have used my intelligence methods and found out that she bought them in the House of Fraser, so girls there we go.
